With baby boomers
retiring in record numbers, retirement
communities are popping up in record numbers as well, ready to cater
to an active retiree who would rather travel or volunteer than mow the
lawn or care for a home that is too large. But not every retiree
wants to move to a retirement community, where the neighbors are all the
same age, same ethnicity and with the same income; some retirees would
rather live with a variety of ages in a less homogeneous
community.
