state park in the United States and is located in New York along
with the Catskill Mountains. Niagara Falls is a common tourist
attraction for visitors to New York as well.
Winters in New York are considered long and
cold although New York metro area sees shorter periods of cold.
Summers in the mountains are cool, while New York City and the
Hudson Valley tend to be hot and humid.
Banking, finance and communication are the
leading economic industries for New York and the New York Stock
Exchange is the largest stock exchange in the world by volume.
Many of the country’s largest corporations and banks are based
in New York.
