The climate ranges from lows in the
teens to twenties in the winter to highs in the low nineties in
the summer. Transportation to and from Missouri is available at
one of two major airports – Lambert-St. Louis International
Airport and Kansas City International Airport. In addition, two of
the nation’s busiest rail centers are in Missouri – Kansas
City and St. Louis.
Major industries in Missouri include aerospace,
transportation equipment, and limestone mining. Agriculture is
another boost to the economy as well as tourism. Between the
Gateway Arch in St. Louis to the Ozarks to Branson, Missouri has
many offerings for visitors.
Missouri has several major sports teams
including the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs football, St.
Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals baseball, and St. Louis
Blues hockey.
