Fairhope, Alabama is located on the southern tip of the state in Baldwin County, located along the Mobile Bay on the cliffs, and is home to slightly more than 12,000 people.  The town originally began as a plan to establish a utopia, and if you like southern living and friendly people, this could be your utopia.

Fairhope experiences a humid climate, given is southern location. The winters are very mild with the average temperature being around 60 degrees. The summers are warm and humid with the average temperature for the summer being about 90 degrees.

This city has a lot of charm and history. The downtown area boasts many century-old buildings, and there are plenty of beautiful views from the shore.  Mobile Bay is a captivating and romantic body of water, and walking is the most popular form of recreation in the town.  It’s no wonder since there are so many places to take a stroll and let all the beautiful scenery sink in. Fairhope is also a place to get excellent seafood. which comes fresh from the surrounding fishing villages.

Coastal Living Magazine named Fairhope one of the top ten Romantic Escapes, and it was listed as one of the top three retirement towns by Southern Living Magazine.  There’s no reason anyone wouldn’t want to spend their retirement in a beautiful place like Fairhope!
