Located in the North Carolina’s Inner Banks region is the county seat of Chowan County, a town called Edenton. With a population of over 5,000 people, Edenton has become a popular retirement location as well as a destination for historical tourism.

Activities in Edenton include biking, kayaking, fishing, sailing and shopping. Tours of restored original colonial buildings are available through the historic district and the town has many bed and breakfasts in which to relax during your visit.
